* Minimum Hours:
10+ hours per week (flexible shifts available)

* Doreen, Reservoir, Werribee > Highly Preferred.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking compassionate, friendly, and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team across various locations in Melbourne. In this role, you will support participants with diverse needs to live independently and confidently in their day-to-day lives.
You will be confident working in the disability sector, a strong team player, and committed to a participant-focused approach. You will support individuals to build capacity and achieve their goals, recognising that disability and aged care support is not a one-size-fits-all service
Key Responsibilities:

Provide
personal care
support including assistance with showering, toileting, dressing, grooming and mobility
* Support participants with daily living activities such as meal preperation, community access, household tasks and medical assistance (where trained or required)
* Support participants with complex needs, including behaviours of concern, dementia, stroke and physical or intellectual disabilities
* Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and internal teams to deliver high quality care based on participants support plans
* Accurately document care provided and report changes in participant wellbeing to the appropriate team members or using approved note taking applications.

Current First Aid & CPR certification
