Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced FM Category Manager to transition out previous waste suppliers and implement a new supplier locally.
This role involves implementing a procurement category management strategy in Facilities Management, managing supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance, overseeing the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, managing and monitoring supplier performance and contract compliance, leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes, preparing and presenting reports on procurement and supply chain performance, and staying informed about market trends and shifts affecting the healthcare industry.
The Successful Applicant:
* Should have qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
* Have experience in a similar role, adept in onboarding new suppliers.
* Possess strong knowledge of procurement strategies and supply chain management.
* Demonstrate excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Show strong analytical abilities and financial acumen.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
