About the role
Westralia car care, a leading automotive service provider in Perth, we are seeking 2 skilled and dedicated Technician / Mechanic to join our team. These full-time positions are based in our modern workshops located in Balcatta and Midland.
What you'll be doing
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including diagnostics, servicing, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
* Carry out advanced diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues
* Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures
What we're looking for
* A relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanics
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified Technician / Mechanic, preferably in a similar automotive workshop environment
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work on a wide range of vehicle makes and models
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to customers
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
* A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* A valid driver's licence and your own tools
