Asset Health Analyst – LANDCROS Connect Insight

We're currently looking for an Asset Health Analyst based in Brisbane, Australia. This position will be seconded to the parent company.
The Asset Health Analyst will be a subject matter expert on asset health conditions monitoring and maintenance engineering for LANDCROS Connect Insight (LCI). They will have an operational focus on providing customer and dealer business value and encouraging the use and adoption of LCI and related digital solutions by analyzing sensor information from customer equipment, creating analysis reports and advising on key conditions to monitor.
Key Responsibilities
* Consult with customers, dealers and partners as asset health subject matter expert to enable them to extract value from LCI solutions and services
* Support customers, dealers, and partners in using LCI's remote condition‐monitoring capabilities by accessing LCI and related equipment data, analyzing performance indicators, and producing periodic reports on key maintenance conditions and recommendations.
* Analyze and report on customer LCI data as part of Remote Monitoring service
* Analyze conditions from remote access to customer equipment via LCI solution
* Help customer, dealers and/or service provider partner put together periodic analysis reports (using LCI reporting tools) on top priority asset health findings
* Create additional LCI virtual sensors/alarms for partners and customers and general product based on those findings
* Create and modify LCI reports and templates to enhance solution reporting capabilities.
* Assist with defining and creating LCI virtual sensors and alarms for high value asset health conditions monitoring for various Hitachi equipment and related components (e.g. Cummins, Bridgestone etc.)
* Work with HCM Digital Solutions and Wenco-DaaS teams to create asset health dashboards and identify top priority sensors and components to monitor to extend the life of equipment, then define and create LCI virtual sensors and alarms for predictive conditions monitoring.
* Collaborate with HCM Asset Health Engineers to help determine root cause issues to help both the customer/dealer improve availability of the asset and HCM/OEM improve the long‐term quality of manufactured equipment.
* Develop investigation cases and detailed reports by leveraging LCI data, dashboards, and diagnostic tools to identify performance issues and maintenance needs.
* Track investigation cases and reports to capture customer and dealer feedback, measure outcomes, and document the value delivered through LCI insights.
* Establish overall best practices for using LCI, as well as building out customer‐focused business cases and ROI calculators.
Experience and Knowledge
* 3-5 years relevant experience as maintenance/reliability engineer and asset health specialist, preferably at top tier mining customer
* Experience in asset health conditions monitoring and analytics is a highly desirable
* Experience with remote operations monitoring is a strong plus
* Experience with managing a team and mentoring staff a plus
* Experience with IT systems, software programming and database systems is a plus
* Experience creating and delivering presentations to technical and non technical audiences is a plus
* Fluency in English is a must, Japanese is a plus
* Experience with Hitachi Mining equipment is a plus
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to correlate machine operational systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical functions, with telematics and sensor data to identify abnormalities, assess performance trends, and generate actionable insights on operational patterns.
* Ability to communicate insights, risks, and recommendations clearly, ensuring alignment on priorities and customer outcomes.
* Strong collaboration and reporting skills, with the ability to keep the Asset Health team and other relevant groups informed of emerging issues, customer feedback, and delivery opportunities.
* Ability to manage tasks and investigations end‐to‐end while maintaining regular communication and progress updates with customers and dealers.
* Proactive problem solver, with strong analytical ability and the capability to map analysis to business priorities
* Ability to use reporting tools such as Tableau, Grafana, Microsoft Power BI or others.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel reporting, PowerPoint presentations and Word).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
* Excellent listener and consultative communicator.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong integrity and team player in support of HCM and group company culture.
Travel
* May require periodic travel to customers, dealer or partner locations both domestically and internationally
