Qualifications & experience

· Current Working with Children Check Current National Police Clearance

· Certificate Current approved First Aid Certificate and CPR

· A minimum of 2 years' experience in an early childhood setting.

· A solid understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years

· Diploma in Childrens services or as recognized by ACECQA

· Early childhood Degree or as recognized by ACECQA Certificate 3 or as recognized by ACECQA Montessori Qualifications and or formal training

Tasks & responsibilities

· Provide a vibrant, interesting, varied, and appropriate children’s program that is developed and implemented to meet the ongoing needs of the children as per the Early Years Learning Framework.

· Ensure that the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the company are upheld, implemented and reviewed regularly to meet relevant requirements.

· Maintain compliance with the regulations as prescribed by the Education and Care Regulatory Unit along with all legal and statutory requirements.

· Encourage staff and families of Sagewood to actively contribute to the quality and success of the Centre.

· Ensure that a sense of belonging and respect prevails at the centre between children, educators, and families always.

· Execute the daily operations of the room to ensure an early learning program and care of the highest standard.

· Respect and provide support and inclusion for all children, regardless of gender, cultural background or socio-economic status.

· Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and language.

Full-Time role

Salary $75,000 to $80,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Joondalup, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

- Australia (Preferred)
