RSL Queensland is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Housing Specialists to join our team and help drive positive change for veterans and their families.
Through our Veteran Homelessness Program, we provide high-quality, personalised support to veterans and their families who are at risk of, or currently experiencing, homelessness across Queensland and the Northern Territory. Our approach is dignified, respectful, and tailored, ensuring every veteran receives the care and assistance they deserve.

Key responsibilities
* Planning and providing safe, compassionate, integrated and holistic homelessness support that locates the veteran and/or their family at the centre of their support and service networks.
* Fostering active veteran and/or family engagement in the identification, development and implementation of individualised housing goals through personalised case management plan.
* Applying best practice and veteran-centred knowledge and skills to engage, support, and empower veterans and their families to identify and overcome their homelessness barriers and meet their housing needs
* Case managing clients who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
* Assisting with applications for social and community housing; private rental applications; and tenancy sustainment strategies and support
Qualifications and experience
You'll have completed an undergraduate degree in Human Services, Social Sciences, Health Sciences (or equivalent).
Experience working in housing and homelessness services, with a strong understanding of relevant policies, support frameworks, and community resources will make your application competitive.
