About the role
The Shift electrician supports CSR's commitment to Zero Harm, WHSE compliance and effective maintenance systems while delivering safe, reliable electrical servicing across all site equipment. You'll work closely with the maintenance team to ensure plant performance, reliability and quality through both planned and reactive electrical work.
This is a permanent position based at our Cecile Park site on a rotating shift.
* Deliver safe, compliant electrical maintenance across all site equipment in line with WHSE standards.
* Diagnose, repair and improve electrical systems to minimise downtime and enhance plant performance.
* Complete scheduled and reactive maintenance using PGH maintenance plans and work orders.
* Participate in RCA, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
* Communicate effectively with the electrical, mechanical and production teams.
* Design, install and commission small-to-medium electrical projects.
* Maintain accurate documentation, SAP work orders, and adhere to site processes and procedures.
* Support a strong safety culture, participate in training and help build team capability
What you bring to the role
* Strong computer skills, including PC use and maintenance
* Solid problem-solving, analysis and decision-making capabilities (PSDM)
* Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement
* A commitment to quality assurance and safe work practices
* Sound understanding of industrial, health, safety and environmental regulations
* Ability to prepare and interpret electrical drawings
* Experience writing and modifying PLC and SCADA code
* Strong documentation control skills
* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control system
