SpiritCode Institute is a small business looking to hire a skilled Videographer/Video Editor who is enthusiastic about filming, video editing and content strategy.
What You Will Do:
- Content Creation: Produce and edit high-quality videos and photographs for various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and our website.
- Overseeing the video production process from concept to final product, maintaining high-quality standards throughout.
- Editing: Edit the content to produce polished and engaging video and photo content suitable for each of the social media platforms.
- Choose suitable audio, graphics, and animation styles for videos.
- Social Media Posting: Schedule the videos and monitor analytics.
- Content Strategy: Develop innovative content strategies that align with current trends and technologies, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of digital culture.
- Analytics & Reporting: Utilize performance data to inform and adjust content strategies, optimizing content for engagement and reach across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend our recording studio and film our online show, edit the footage, and create short snippets from it for Reels and Tik Tok.
- Stay up-to-date with social media content trends and trending sounds.
- Lead short form video creation across various social media platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram.
- Utilize social media reels to maximize engagement and reach a wider audience.
- Research trends and tactics for retention/engagement on all social media platforms
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in video and photo editing software (like Adobe Suite or Final Cut Pro).
- Strong visual skills with an eye for detail, lighting, composition, and color.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with camera, sound, and lighting equipment, with a knack for creating innovative content.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with social media management tools and platforms.
- A driver's license and car for commuting purposes.
- An understanding of online accessibility, social media best practices, and emerging trends.
- Experience in short video content creation, for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
