About the Role
As an occupational therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients to improve their mental health, daily functioning, and overall wellbeing. This is a patient-facing clinical role where you will work with individuals experiencing challenges with mental health, psychosocial disability, or functional limitations.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' functional abilities, daily routines, and psychosocial needs.
* Develop and deliver evidence-based, personalized interventions to enhance independence, coping strategies, and life participation.
* Support clients in building skills for self-care, work, education, and community engagement.
* Apply mental health-informed strategies including stress management, sensory regulation, and activity-based interventions.
* Collaborate closely with psychologists, behaviour support practitioners, exercise physiologists, and other allied health professionals to provide holistic, person-centred care.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor progress to ensure clients achieve meaningful outcomes.

This is a permanent part-time position (0.4 FTE) that will be based at our new centre. There is future growth as we work towards our goal of expanding services nationally.

About You
* We're seeking an experienced occupational therapist with:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in occupational therapy.
* Current registration.
* 3–5+ years of clinical experience in occupational therapy (mental health, rehabilitation, or community care highly regarded).
* Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful client and colleague relationships.
* Experience delivering evidence-based care and fostering innovation in service delivery.
