headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Wollongong work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people. Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Wollongong. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
About The Position
The role of the Clinical Psychology Registrar is to provide evidence-based psychological intervention for young people aged 12-25 years old. Master of Clinical Psychology students who are registered or soon to be eligible for clinical registration are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is designed to meet the requirements of the registrar program. You get the benefits of working within a supportive team environment with extensive clinical support to help you continue to develop as a clinical psychologist.
This is a full-time fixed term contract to 30 June 2026 based in Wollongong however,
part time applications will be considered.
Full-time positions can enjoy a Rostered Day Off each month.
We Are Looking For Someone With
* Current AHPRA registration as a registered psychologist, working towards clinical endorsement as a registrar.
* Eligible for a registered psychologist Medicare rebate.
* Experience in assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders, and provision of evidence-based focused psychological strategies.
* An understanding of key issues in relation to the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems.
