THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Automotive industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Senior/Quality Engineer as part of their expansion plans in Australia, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
THE ROLE
The Senior/Quality Engineer is responsible for:
* Implement and monitor quality systems aligned with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
* Lead and support CI projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste and improve processes.
* Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, supply chain) to ensure quality objectives are met.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer working in a plant or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of CI methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt preferred).
* Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
