West Coast Nursing and Support Services is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Community Nurses to join our growing team. We specialise in delivering exceptional care to individuals living with complex medical needs and NDIS participants.
This role is ideal for Registered Nurses with strong clinical skills and a genuine passion for paediatric care in the community setting.
About the Role:
As a Paediatric Community Disability Nurse, you will provide in-home, clinical care and support to paediatric NDIS participants. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving client health outcomes through quality nursing assessments, care planning and timely clinical interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver evidence-based care
* Provide clinical support including PEG feeding, suctioning and seizure management
* Monitor client health status and respond promptly to signs of deterioration
* Liaise with families and allied health professionals
* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with NDIS and nursing standards
Desirable Criteria:
* Community nursing experience
* Experience with PEG feeding, seizure management and suctioning
Essential Criteria:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Excellent clinical judgement and ability to work independently
* Calm, kind and professional demeanour under pressure
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, CPR certification and WWC (or willing to obtain)
