Job Title:
Railcar Technician
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Railcar Technician to support the Train level testing activities of DMU railcars in accordance with internal rules, project needs and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on the systems of the vehicle
* Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability
* Performing post work testing and validation as necessary
* Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out
* Supporting with train movements and other depot tasks as required
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A proactive approach with the ability to manage your time effectively
* A positive attitude and a team player, who is happy to assist where required
* Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, diagnosing and repair
* A certificate III in Electrotechnology
* A current WA Electrical Licence
* A former experience on Diesel equipment is a nice to have
