About the role The Facilities Manager is responsible for the efficient, safe and cost-effective operation of building services across a shopping centre portfolio. This role plays a key part in ensuring asset performance, compliance, contractor management and positive tenant relationships while maintaining operational excellence. Key responsibilities include: Manage the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of building services, ensuring minimal disruption to site functionality. Oversee contractor performance, compliance, and service delivery across essential and non‑essential services. Control operating expenditure, monitor budgets, and report on variances in line with agreed financial targets. Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental legislation, essential services, and risk management requirements. Build strong working relationships with tenants and stakeholders, delivering consistently high levels of customer service. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience in facilities within commercial real estate, preferably in a retail shopping centre environment. Proven experience managing contractors and service providers in a regulated environment. Strong knowledge of statutory legislation, WHS requirements, and essential services compliance. Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills with a customer‑focused approach. What's in it for you?
