Home Ownership Experience Designer
This role involves designing seamless, intelligent experiences that transform how customers are supported throughout the end-to-end home ownership journey. You will work on a variety of transformation projects and initiatives that improve how NAB lends throughout this journey.
* Design and own projects defining end-to-end user flows and mid-fidelity screens based on requirements for designers and their cross-functional teams to deliver.
* Own the design of growing the experience for home ownership, iterating on and improving existing tools.
* Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and subject matter experts to define the problem space and align on solutions.
* Engage with stakeholders to validate your designs and ensure they are user-friendly, fit for market, and reduce operational risk.
* Communicate design decisions effectively, using visuals and storytelling to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
* Work within a strong design community—sharing, critiquing, and growing alongside a team of talented designers.
Requirements:
* Proven senior level experience working as a product designer or UX/UI designer.
* Experience within a finance or service industry.
* Ability to map out the end-to-end user experience, designing high-level flow and structure.
* Experience designing for complex systems, where multiple user types and workflows need to be considered.
* A natural ability to communicate, aligning stakeholders across business and technology teams to drive great design outcomes.
* Excellent working knowledge of the design process, experience design methodologies and principles.
* Strong ability to independently perform essential capabilities required in this role.
* Proven experience using design processes and tools to digitize experiences.
* Curiosity and problem-solving skills—you don't just execute, you think critically about how to improve experiences and challenge assumptions.
