Job Description
The role of an Interim Risk Manager involves overseeing and managing risk-related activities to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and assets. This position requires a strong understanding of risk management principles, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential risks and threats
* Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures related to patient safety
* Monitor and report on incidents and near misses to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Recent experience in risk management, preferably in a healthcare setting
* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or healthcare administration
* Compact RN license (a plus)
* Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation (highly desirable)
