Job Description
As a key member of our operational team, the Supervisor Waste Management Facility plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the waste and circular economy staff. This involves supervising all activities related to landfill disposals and recycling operations, as well as implementing and monitoring safety programs and requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting operations in accordance with Environmental Protection License (EPL) regulations, master plans, and plans of management. They will also prepare rosters and work programs, conduct regular performance reviews, and ensure that personnel are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising operational staff and hold relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction.
Key Responsibilities

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working a 76 hours per fortnight across an 8-day fortnight. The remuneration package includes a base salary of $3658 - $4103* per fortnight inclusive of weekend penalty rates and Adverse Working Conditions allowance, plus 11.5% superannuation. This role is eligible for 5 weeks annual leave per year.
