About the Role
As a Horticulturist Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting regionally based teams of Team Leaders and General Hands.
This team delivers high-quality gardening, cleaning, and general maintenance services across a diverse range of commercial client sites.
The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and coaching to local Facilities Management teams, ensuring they meet schedules, contract specifications, and service standards aligned with our purpose and values.
You will ensure all incidents and issues are appropriately reported and escalated using the relevant platforms, with timely follow-up actions to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Additionally, you will support Regional and National Operations Managers with the preparation of tenders and quotations, assist in maintaining compliance with ISO Certifications, and conduct regular site visits to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of contract services.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Trade certification in Horticulture is mandatory.
* Proven experience leading medium to large teams is essential.
* Ability to supervise across multiple and remote locations is required.
* Grounds maintenance experience is preferred.
* Strong human resource skills including relationship building, leadership, collaboration, and a participative approach are necessary.
* Excellent administrative and scheduling capabilities are required.
* Highly organised with strong problem-solving and technical skills is a must.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances is essential.
* Strong commitment to safety practices is necessary.
