Payroll Systems Administrator - Ascender Pay

Salary: UOM 7 - $109,093 - $118,091 p.a. plus 17% super (salary negotiable)
Key responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and maintain the aPay payroll system (Ascender/Dayforce), ensuring data integrity and compliance with legislation and policies.
- Research, triage, and resolve payroll system issues promptly to minimise operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, scope, and deliver payroll system enhancements and recent capabilities.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT teams to manage project risks, issues, and decisions related to payroll systems.
You may be a great fit if
- You are an experienced payroll systems professional with strong technical skills in aPay (Ascender/Dayforce), possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for optimising payroll processes in complex organisational environments.
- Have 3 or more years of experience configuring and administering payroll and awards systems.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Dayforce system building blocks and their alignment with industrial instruments.
- Possess strong analytical skills and experience in requirements gathering, design, and testing of payroll solutions.
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and driving improvement in payroll systems and processes.
