We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team in a remote Northern Territory location, supporting both heavy mining equipment and fixed plant assets within a processing facility. This is a FIFO role from Brisbane, operating on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster with paid travel provided. FIFO from other capitals will be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Condition Monitoring Leadership: Interpret condition monitoring reports, identify alarms and high-risk assets, and work with area owners to prioritise inspections, changeouts, and upgrades. Establish proactive processes to prevent recurrence and extend asset life.
* Oil Analysis Program Management: Lead the site-wide oil analysis program, overseeing sampling regimes, data interpretation, and integration into maintenance planning. Drive best-practice lubrication and contamination control across both mobile and fixed assets.
* Ampla Implementation Support: Provide specialist input into the Ampla implementation project, defining measurement points, ensuring SAP integration, and configuring output files. Establish enduring processes to ensure accuracy and long-term usability of production and maintenance data.
* Defect Elimination & RCA: Facilitate defect elimination forums with maintenance, operations, engineering, and planning teams. Champion structured problem-solving (5 Whys, RCA) and ensure corrective actions are tracked, completed, and embedded into site processes to reduce repeat failures.
* Tactics & Spares Optimisation: Support ACA and PMO workshops with the tactics project lead, refining preventive maintenance strategies and uplifting critical spares management. Document and embed updated tactics in SAP for sustainability.
* SAP Utilisation & Data Integrity: Apply strong SAP skills to analyse work orders, capture and report on defects, and monitor asset performance. Establish workflows to improve data quality, enhance planning accuracy, and strengthen the reliability feedback loop.
* Process Development & Standardisation: Build and embed new reliability processes across site, ensuring condition monitoring, RCA, spares management, and reporting frameworks are standardised, repeatable, and measurable.
About You
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
* Demonstrated experience across both heavy mining equipment and processing facility fixed plant.
* Proven application of SAP in a reliability or maintenance environment.
* Strong facilitation skills in defect elimination, RCA, and reliability improvement initiatives.
* Conditionm monitoring expereince across VA, Oils Analysis, Thermography
* Collaborative approach with the ability to influence cross-disciplinary teams.
