The FirmOur client is not your standard firm. They are a fast-growing, NewLaw practice dedicated to protecting the ideas and assets of Australia' most exciting entrepreneurs and SMEs. They also have some major clients too.
They have ditched the \"old school\" approach for a model that prioritizes high quality work, transparent fees and a collaborative tech-enables culture.
Due to growth, they are looking to hire a lawyer with at least 2 years plus pae.
The Opportunity This isn't a \"volume churn\" role. It's interesting work where you will be reviewing, drafting and amended a variety of commercial documents e.g. service agreements, T&Cs, shareholder agreements.
There will also be an emphasis on:
Intellectual Property: advising on brand protection, drafting IP licensing agreements, advising on TM protection
Privacy & Data: crafting tailored privacy policies and advising on OAIC compliance and data protection strategies.
You won't be hidden in a back room. You will have real responsibility and partner access.

About You
You will have around 2 years plus pae experience in commercial law, advantageous would-be experience in IP and Privacy Law.
Our client will look at less post admission experience, where there is strong pre-admission experience.
You are proactive, solutions-focused and can translate complex legal jargon into plain English for business owners.
You have eagle eye for detail, take pride in drafting documents that are both legally robust and commercially practical.
