About the role
Omnia Wheel is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our highly skilled engineering team in our Beresfield, NSW location. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing and optimising cutting‐edge wheel products for our expanding global customer base. What you'll be doing
* Design and develop new wheel products to meet customer specifications and industry standards
* Analyse product performance data and implement design improvements to enhance quality, safety and efficiency
* Collaborate cross‐functionally with the production, quality and sales teams to ensure seamless project delivery
* Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings and other documentation to support the engineering process
* Stay up‐to‐date with the latest industry trends, technologies and engineering best practices
* Provide technical support and advice to internal and external stakeholders as required
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* 3+ years of professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer, ideally in a product development environment
* Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, product development workflows and CAD software
* Excellent problem‐solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
* Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards and quality control processes
* Collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
