Job Overview
This Electrical Maintenance position involves supporting the efficient and reliable operation of electrical systems.
* Develop and execute maintenance plans to ensure smooth plant operations.
* Analyze and resolve electrical issues using root cause analysis and predictive techniques.
* Maintain accurate records in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and provide progress reports.
* Provide technical expertise and source materials and services to optimize plant performance.
* Collaborate with the team, share knowledge, and adapt to new technologies and changes.
* Participate in a call-out roster, work with contractors, and procure maintenance supplies and services.
About You
You are a qualified electrical technician with a valid license and experience in low-voltage/high-voltage distribution, electrical testing, and fault finding.
* Bring strong problem-solving skills, planning abilities, and a commitment to occupational health and safety.
* Have supervisory experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in computer systems.
* Desirable extras include experience with instrumentation, fire protection systems, and exposure to generation environments, high-voltage switchyards, and industrial communication systems.
