The Sunshine Coast Turf Club (SCTC) is looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Executive to bring our racedays, events and hospitality experiences to life through compelling content and effective digital campaigns.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Customer Experience, this role is responsible for executing, optimising and continuously improving digital marketing activity across campaigns, content, platforms and customer touchpoints.
This role suits someone who blends creativity with digital intelligence - using imagery, video, brand assets and performance data to engage audiences, retarget effectively and convert interest into attendance, ticket sales and membership.
What You’ll Do
* Create and manage content across social, website, EDMs and digital campaigns
* Use SCTC’s image and video library, brand assets and creative templates to communicate our products, services and events
* Capture and produce short‑form video content (Reels, Stories) where it adds impact
* Execute paid and organic campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn and Google
* Manage day‑to‑day updates to the WordPress website and campaign landing pages
* Build and manage ticketing for racedays and events using Flicket
* Support always‑on membership promotion through content and digital activity
* Track and interpret audience behaviour, digital signals and campaign performance
* Support retargeting and conversion activity across digital channels
* Act as a key point of contact for creative, production and digital partners, working as a conduit between agencies and the SCTC team
* Produce, maintain and update key customer‑facing communications across digital and printed assets, including signage and menus
* Contribute ideas and turn them into well‑executed digital activity that delivers outcomes
* Support the team during busy event periods, including handling enquiries when needed
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience in digital marketing, social media and campaign execution
* Strong content creation skills (copywriting, Canva, video editing)
* Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads and analytics platforms
* Working knowledge of WordPress and SEO principles
* Understanding of audience behaviour, digital signals, retargeting and conversion pathways
* Comfortable capturing and producing social‑native video content
* Interest or working knowledge of AI tools
* A customer centric mindset, with the ability to think from the customer’s perspective and use insight and data to improve communication and experience
* Experience in events, sport, hospitality, tourism or membership‑based environments (highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
