Support Worker – Mental Health and Disabilities! Multiple casual positions available. Availability for Weekend & Sleepover shifts desired but not essential.
Location: Graceville Centre at Nambour QLD
Pay Scale: $45.35 - $49.47 ph (includes 25% casual loading) + Salary packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits
About The Role: Located in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, our Graceville Centre provides support to individuals living with a mental illness and/or disability. All Graceville services are conducted by working with individuals in a strength-based and recovery-focused framework. Graceville Centre operates seven programs that provide support to clients either on site or in their own homes. We are a growing service and regularly have internal opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities Will Include:
* Provide flexible, support tailored to client needs and preferences.
* Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, ensuring dignity and independence.
* Encourage community participation and social engagement for individuals.
* Support skill development and independence-building activities.
* Work collaboratively with case managers and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate documentation of client care and interactions.
What You Bring to the Team:
* Transferrable skills and/or study in a related field (students are encouraged to apply).
* A strong passion for empowering individuals with a mental illness and/or disabilities.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
* A valid Queensland Driver's Licence & a comprehensively insured vehicle that you can use to transport clients (if required).
* A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card.
