Logistics and dispatch role at Millers Flour mill site in Byford. Responsible for end-to-end scheduling and coordination across our milling operations and our logistics team, ensuring the reliable and efficient movement of inbound and outbound product.
The role will involve delivery coverage as required, HR License essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate all outbound loads against customer requirements and silo stock availability
* Plan inbound wheat deliveries from CBH, optimising for delivery windows, opening hours, and backload opportunities
* Schedule bulk flour deliveries between mill customer silos
* Complete all receival data entry
* Coordinate pick and pick urgent orders
* Plan daily truck runs for all drivers across bagged and bulk product
* Supervise order pickers on run layouts and load sequencing ahead of each shift
* Supervise and coach the evening picking team
* Resolve delivery errors promptly, including same-day runs where required
* Provide backup driving cover as required
* Onboard and train new drivers to fleet, systems, and service standards
