The ideal candidate will:Demonstrate impartiality and professionalism in addressing issues within the chamberBuild strong, respectful relationships with Elected Members, the Mayor and Council staffBe approachable and visible within the community, engaging directly with ratepayersHave experience as a CEO or General Manager in a multifaceted organisationMaintain collaborative relationships with neighbouring Council CEOsUnderstand grant funding processes and opportunitiesFoster autonomy and accountability among General Managers to drive results embody honesty, integrity and transparency in all interactionsQualifications & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Management, Business, Planning or related disciplineExtensive executive leadership experience, ideally within Local Government or a similar sectorDemonstrated success in strategic planning, financial oversight and organisational developmentStrong understanding of governance, stakeholder engagement and community service deliveryWhy Consider This Role?
