Supply Chain Planner Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to play a pivotal role in the timely and cost-effective supply of product packaging.
This role will work closely with operations, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure product is in place and available to meet all production sites' forecasted and stock seasonal demand orders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage inventory levels and procurement of all required product labels and 110L drums for seasonal production.
* Ensure all materials are on-site and ready ahead of production start dates.
* Liaise with suppliers to secure best pricing, delivery, and quality, and resolve any supply or quality issues.
* Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and optimize their use for inventory and supply chain performance.
* Work closely with operations, logistics, manufacturing, and QA teams to ensure compliance and up-to-date product information.
* Prepare regular stock and obsolescence reports; support monthly reconciliations and biannual stocktakes.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Support company improvement projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.
About You
* Diploma or degree in a business-related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing or supply planning, ideally in the raw material production or manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management, supply chain concepts, and experience with imports/3PL.
* Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and Outlook.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities independently.
* Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
