We are a growing construction company based in Milton, Brisbane, seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting our finance and operations functions, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable.

About the Role
Your primary responsibility will be managing the Accounts Payable function, while also supporting broader administrative and finance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
· Processing high-volume supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
· Matching purchase orders, delivery dockets, and invoices
· Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
· Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships
· Processing employee expense reimbursements
· Providing payroll backup support as required
· Assisting with general office administration duties
· Maintaining organised digital and physical filing systems
· Supporting the broader team with ad hoc administrative tasks
About You
· Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance/administration role
· Experience in the construction industry (highly regarded but not essential)
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Confident communication skills and a proactive attitude
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
· Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is preferred
· A team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves in a growing business
