About the role
Optus Business Centre Brisbane South is seeking a motivated and experienced Outbound Appointment Setter to join our team. This is an on site role with flexible working hours. In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to businesses, generating new sales leads and booking appointments for our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading telecommunications provider and contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.
What you'll be doing
1. Make outbound calls to prospective business customers to identify their needs and generate sales opportunities
2. Qualify and nurture leads, booking appointments for our sales team
3. Provide excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with potential clients
4. Maintain accurate records of all calls and activities in our customer relationship management system
5. Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads
6. Assist with other administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
1. MUST HAVE proven experience in outbound B2B appointment setting
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers
3. Excellent phone manner and ability to handle objections and overcome barriers
4. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
5. Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
6. A positive, proactive and resilient attitude
