We're looking for a capable and driven Service Advisor for a busy, multi-franchise dealership in South Brisbane. Reporting directly to the Service Manager this is an excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor or Workshop Controller looking to grow into clear career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and gather detailed information to understand their service needs
- Service Recommendations: Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance, providing clear explanations and cost estimates
- Coordination with Technicians: Communicate customer concerns to service technicians and relay technical information back to customers in understandable terms
- Scheduling and Workflow Management: Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's workflow to ensure timely completion of work
- Customer Follow-Up: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction.
Essential Skills
- Automotive Knowledge: A solid understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures to accurately assess and explain service needs
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to customers and coordinate with service staff.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Organizational Abilities: Efficiently manage multiple service orders, appointments, and customer interactions simultaneously.
