The Position:
* Prepare, cook, and present food for café, kiosks, and catered events, ensuring quality and consistency.
* Manage your section during service with efficiency, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
* Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and collaborate with the team for smooth kitchen operations.
* Mentor junior chefs and apprentices, fostering skill development.
* Contribute to menu planning and daily specials to enhance offerings.
The Person:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or senior cook, with Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and efficient kitchen operations.
* Ability to perform well in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
* Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
