We're looking for an Auditor to join our team based in our Sydney office.
As an Auditor, you will contribute to the delivery of audit and assurance services under the guidance of senior team members. You'll assist in planning and executing audit engagements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the preparation of audit deliverables. This role offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships, collaborate with a supportive team, and grow your professional skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Audit Execution and Reporting: You'll assist in planning and conducting audits, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time, while preparing clear and compliant financial reports.
* Client and Team Engagement: You will communicate with clients to gather information and resolve queries, and work closely with your team to coordinate tasks and learn from senior team members.
* Compliance and Development: You'll ensure all work meets professional standards and firm policies, while actively participating in training and development to grow your expertise.
About You
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for audit and assurance. You might be a recent graduate with a strong foundation in accounting, or an experienced professional looking to deepen your expertise in audit. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy solving problems, and be committed to delivering high-quality work.
If you have some of the following skills, experience, or qualities, we would like to hear from you:
* Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* At least 2 years experience in audit, assurance, or financial reporting.
* Proficiency in audit software (particularly Caseware) and Microsoft Office is a must
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and client service abilities.
* A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
