Hawksworth have partnered with one of Australia's Largest Financial Services Brands and they are on the lookout for an Iteration Manager to join their Data and Enterprise Technology team.
The purpose of the Iteration Manager role is to take accountability for the delivery of value to stakeholders. Empower, lead and coach geographically dispersed teams to be successful, self organising and adapt to change.
**What you'll need to bring**
- At least 5 years appropriate industry experience
- Previous experience in a large organisation
- Proved delivery track record
- Experience in leading geographically distributed teams
- At least 2 years in a Scrum Master/Iteration Manager role
- Excellent skills in leading a team including coaching, having difficult conversations and providing feedback. Comfortable resolving conflict and to facilitate discussion on alternatives approaches
- Facilitation experience and able to facilitate, or mentor others to facilitate, agile ceremonies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing skills
- High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change
- Ability to instil a growth mindset in the team
- Able to create a safe to fail environment
- Understanding of Agile behaviours, tools and techniques: e.g. collaboration, work breakdown, automated testing, Scrum, Kanban etc
- Sound knowledge of how information and technology contributes to business performance
