What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Projects Assistant who demonstrates exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, in order to bring multiple creative solutions to fruition, within expected timeframes, budgets and design outcomes. This person will be positive, hardworking and driven to succeed
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
* Support the planning and implementation of all projects and facilitate the project scope, goals and deliverables that sit in line with the overarching business strategy.
* Work alongside the Project Manager to execute all new retail store concepts ensuring designs align with the company direction.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to source, prepare and coordinate project resources, including reviewing store plans, obtaining quotes, and arranging deliveries to site in line with build schedules.
* Track and manage project costs and budgets, maintain accurate records, monitoring spends against forecasts, and escalating risks or variances as required.
* Work alongside fixture manufacturers to manage quality assurance of all new fixtures and fittings.
* Undertake site visits as required, involving occasional travel between sites, head office and warehouses. Some interstate travel may be required.
* Assist with the planning, sourcing and resource allocation for all stores maintenance.
* Assisting in manage the intake and outgoings of the company's fixtures/fittings alongside warehouse managers.
* Liaise with Warehouse manager and Truck drivers on the delivery of fixtures for all store opening/closures.
What You'll Bring:
* A degree in project management desirable.
* A seasoned construction or retail background with proven success working in project management.
* Minimum 3 years Construction or Broad Merchandise/Retail experience
* Local and International Knowledge of construction or retail industry
* Ability to set strategic objectives
* A strong leadership style
* Ability to lift a minimum of 10-15kg
