About the role
To provide quality advice and support to a diverse client base in relation to library services within West Moreton Health. The Librarian will operate and efficiently maintain established library systems and procedures associated with the management, utilisation, maintenance and delivery of information resources to clients.
About you
- Commitment to client service, with effective interpersonal and communication skills relevant to providing excellent customer service and assist clients to access appropriate resources.
- Knowledge of a range of library services, including reference services, client education, collection management and cataloguing.
- Experience in the use of computerised Library Information Management Systems, Internet, and health related on-line databases.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, support team processes, establish work priorities, time manage workflow and work successfully as part of a team.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
