Senior UX Designer – 2XKO at Riot Games
Riot is looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our Sydney-based team. Riot's mission is to put players at the center of everything we do, continually creating, evolving, and delivering new experiences for games such as 2XKO, Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends, VALORANT, and Legends of Runeterra.
Responsibilities
* Design end‑to‑end player‑facing features that define the player's journey across systems like social interactions, communication tools, and progression.
* Support high‑level design in developing intuitive control schemes and UX flows.
* Build wireframes, interactive prototypes, and presentations for proofs of concept and implementation.
* Expand design thinking into the multiplatform space to fit our cross‑platform strategy.
* Collaborate across teams to create in‑game designs and large‑scale products for players.
* Help implement prototypes with engineering and UI support to demonstrate proofs of concept.
* Define a vision and well‑prioritized feature roadmap to drive a better player future.
* Articulate design decisions and communicate data‑informed vision, design rationale, and solutions to team members.
* Deliver appropriate design artifacts—strategic frameworks, discovery and research results, journey maps, flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes—and monitor usage and player sentiment for new and existing features.
Required Qualifications
* 6+ years of experience as a UX or Interaction Designer on digital products or games.
* Skilled with Figma for interface design, prototyping, and design system management.
* Able to create and articulate design solutions informed by player needs, usability principles, and project goals.
Desired Qualifications
* BA/BS degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with Unreal Engine for implementation and prototyping.
* Experience designing for games, social platforms, or live digital services.
