The Role
The preference for ADL based resources but we are willing to accept applications from anywhere in Australia.
Role Description
* Lead coordination and communication activities related to project training scope.
* Provide advice and guidance to the Project Manager in the development of project training scope.
* Provide updates to training schedule and inform of potential training risks to the Project Manager.
* Manage Training Working Groups and other stakeholder engagement.
* Review and analyse existing ADF, partner forces and other government agencies training continuums for use in line with the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL).
* Manage and lead the development, review and maintenance of Specialist training solutions to ensure they align with the Commonwealth's goals and objectives.
* Prepare and present accurate and relevant training documentation, training deliverables and reports.
* Provide analysis and recommendations on specialist training and development activities and initiatives.
* Analyse and evaluate training development.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement a cohesive, integrated and comprehensive offering of training solutions and learning outcomes across the department to drive desired outcomes.
* Anticipate, identify and analyse any potential issues and/or risks to training and provide workable solutions in line with strategic intent.
* Develop learning material for the training of Defence members and other support personnel relating to the capability.
Experience Requirements
* SADL Proficiency, extensive knowledge of the SADL framework and its application in the ADF.
* Experience in developing defence training programs IAW SADL and associated documentation.
* Previous Defence ILS, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment experience.
* Communication and negotiation, high level interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and build relationships.
Desirable
* Background in Space technology and systems.
* More than 5 years of Defence Training management experience.
