Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Detection Technician to provide expert technical support and service for fire detection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, test, inspect, maintain and repair fire detection, alarm and warning systems
Experienced in minor/major works
Modification to and/or installation of new fire systems
Ability to re-connect and dis-connect systems
Competent and experienced in operating and programming fire systems
Ability and capability to fault find, diagnosis and repair fire alarm system
Reporting on your activities, compliance issues and health & safety matters
Requirements:
* A valid and unrestricted driver's licence
* Sound knowledge of Australian standards and codes relevant to the fire industry
* Proven industry experience servicing, repairing, maintaining and installing fire systems
* Demonstrate sufficient proficiency in Electrical Fire
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a range of people from varying backgrounds and stature
* A strong service focus
* The ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
