The role
Metal Fabricator
Position: Permanent, full‐time with a day shift from 6:00am to 2:06pm (overtime optional). Location: Forrestdale, WA. Annual salary: $76,570 – $80,000 per annum (based on relevant skills and qualifications).
Responsibilities
- Manufacture goods to customers' requirements.
- Interpret technical product drawings and specifications.
- MIG fabricate using mild steel and silicone bronze.
- Operate plant and mobile equipment, including overhead cranes.
- Collaborate with team members, other departments, and projects.
- Participate in training for specific plant and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere strictly to critical safety rules and contribute to a safe working environment.
About You
- Essential Fabricating experience with mild steel and galvanized products in both light and heavy gauges.
- Essential At least 2 years of relevant production environment experience.
- Essential AQF Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication).
- Commitment to producing quality products.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Robust mechanical aptitude with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sound awareness of safety standards and alertness to moving parts and people.
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience with enthusiasm, energy, and pace.
