Centric are currently seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join our Research team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role is flexible to be based in Melbourne or Sydney for the right person.The Investment team research asset classes & investment managers to generate ideas essential to maintaining and improving the performance of the portfolios.
We apply both strategic and tactical asset allocation to the diversified models while providing investment blending targeting specific investment objectives.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for contributing to both the Asset Allocation and Portfolio Construction process and provide analysis of investment proposals and opportunities.What will your typical week look like?Investment Due Diligence and Portfolio Construction.
Provide research on fund manager selection, de-selection and portfolio construction for Centric including Findex, HNW, IFA, not-for-profit and other institutional clients.Assist with investments appraisal and onboarding of HNW-IFAs-Institutional clients onto Centric IDPS and Super.Monitor, review and supervise the relevant Centric Investment Menus (IDPS and Super).Provide advisers with bespoke analysis on a suitable range of investments relevant to their portfolio and goals, including income-based and target-date focused.Liaise with external research houses to initiate and conduct SPC fund ratings reports.Assist with the drafting and review of PDS, IMA and factsheet for SPC funds.More about the perks!Join a company who promotes its own talent.Dynamic work environment – work from home and office.Engage with a culture that values continuous improvement and innovation.Let's talk about you!The successful person will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:Tertiary qualifications (preferably in Finance / Commerce / Business / Economics) required and will be highly regarded.Advanced certifications and designations desirable e.g., Master of Applied Finance, CFA, CIMA, CAIA.Strong investment technical capability including quantitative and analytical skills such as financial modelling, portfolio management, portfolio optimisation and risk management.Understanding of economics in terms of policy impacts and changes in major macroeconomic variables.Ability to integrate and analyse large volumes of (technical) information to provide concise and understandable investment advice.Why Centric?Centric is a comprehensive online wealth management platform providing advisers and investors the ability to manage their wealth easily and efficiently.
