Job Description
Exciting opportunities are available within Perioperative Services at Epworth Richmond. You can choose to join our supportive team as a Theatre Technician on a casual, part-time, or full-time basis plus a permanent full-time position is available for night shift from 2100-0730.
You will be responsible for providing quality service with patient care, equipment handling and transport services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.
You will make an impact by-
* Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
* Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
* Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
To be successful in this role-

You are a good communicator with a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. Professional in your work, you have a strong attention to detail and are quick to learn and adapt.
* Cert III Theatre Technician qualification and above
* Minimum 6 months theatre technician experience following qualification
* Clear understanding and use of medical terminology
* Understanding of, and ability to set-up medical devices / theatres
* Ability to work a rotating roster (mix of AM, PM, twilight, night and weekend shifts)

The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians – AUD $57,744 - $70,910 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part-time).
