About the opportunity We are currently seeking Q ualified carers / Personal care workers to join our Care team at our Moran Sylvania home. Morning shift: 06:30am to 14:30pm Afternoon shift: 14:30am to 22:30pm Reporting to the Registered Nurse in Charge you will be providing quality care and assist the residents living in our residential home. Moran provides 24-hour RN nursing coverage, so clinical support and leadership is always available to carers. You will be guided and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us. You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day. If you are motivated and resourceful Registered Nurse with passion to improve our residents’ daily life, this role is for you! Key Duties: Providing high quality essential care, personal assistance and wellbeing support to our residents in accordance with the individual resident’s care plan. Be part of the night shift care team, coordinating efforts to ensure residents needs are being taken care of, and preparations for the following day’s shift are complete. Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change and positive in your approach. Complete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health and Management as required. Skills/Requirements: Certificate III in Individual Support or certificate IV in Individual Support Minimum 6 months experience Dedication to providing a high standard of care and service Good communication skills Ability to work in a team and engage positively with your colleagues Basic computer skills Valid working visa Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster Highly organised with strong planning skills.
