Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and experienced plumber to provide delivery of plumbing services. This permanent full-time opportunity is focused on maintaining service delivery capability of the facilities represented.
This role requires compliance with Metro North Values, adherence to all prescribed systems and processes, and effective management of internal trades staff and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act, the Health Services Act, and local guidelines to safeguard the interests of Queensland Health and its employees.
* Ensure all work packages are delivered in a manner satisfying all required Workplace Health and Safety requirements, including the MNH Safety Management Plan and all safe systems of work.
* Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices.
* Manage own leave balances to ensure at all times that Annual Leave entitlements held do not surpass 6 weeks of accrued leave without approval from the Manager BEMS.
* Actively participate in the annual Performance Development Process (PDP).
* Maintain personal licences and any assigned annual training requirements, to ensure that they are always current.
* Complete and maintain current status in all required training, including face-to-face and online training.
* Position will be required to work a mix of inside core hours service delivery, outside core hours delivery, and rotating on-call 24/7 roster to meet the requirements of the facilities.
