The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join the Trenery Marketing team as a Junior Copywriter. Reporting to the Copywriter & Content Editor, this role is responsible for creating detailed product descriptions that talk to design and quality for all categories across Trenery Womenswear and Menswear.
**Please note: this opportunity is a part-time position for 4 days per week**
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain brand Tone of Voice and brand consistency across internal and external marketing channels as required, in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Responsible for crafting monthly product descriptions, speaking to design and quality across Trenery Womenswear and Menswear product.
- Support Copywriter & Content Editor in developing copy for additional channels as required: web updates, EDM, social media, VM (store signage, swing tags, product packaging)
- Develop concise, compelling copy that engages customers, captures loyalty and encourages sales
- Maintain a strong understanding of all Trenery products and services, and their differentiators
- Support Marketing team with event collateral, press releases where required
- Support with internal communications for store and other relevant stakeholders
- Update and review meta data, implement best practice SEO principles with support from Group SEO team
- Competitor analysis: research trends, brands and competitors to create and maintain competitive edge
- Degree in Journalism, Communications or similar
- Exceptional spelling, grammar and writing skills
- Experience writing web product descriptions highly favourable
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Basic understanding of the fashion retail business, with knowledge of sustainability initiatives, fashion têxtiles and design
- Demonstrated experience in team working environment with the ability to work autonomously
- A sound knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with content management platforms such as Asana, Trello or similar
- Accurate and efficient, with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise competing tasks effectively
- A natural problem solver with a can-do attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders
- Inquisitive and clear thinking with an ability to work independently
