**Team and Opportunity**
**Core Responsibilities**
- Consults on and develops communications strategy to enable strategic business outcomes while protecting and enhancing Vanguard's reputation.
- Provides strategic advice and guidance on messaging and/or content strategy across mediums-working closely and collaboratively with Marketing & Communications colleagues and business leaders.
- Supports external facing crew to share Vanguard's differentiated positioning and ensures that communications across all VIA channels is globally aligned and locally relevant.
- Develops and strengthens working relationships with global Strategic Communications and Corporate Communications partners, key influencers and executives across the organisation and in the industry to support communications and business objectives.
- Balances external practice with internal brand. Serve as Vanguard's authority on industry best practices, emerging trends, and their validity in Vanguard's environment and culture to encourage adoption as appropriate.
- Spearheads continuous improvements in Vanguard's communication strategy and implementation. Measures and monitors client satisfaction and makes recommendations based on feedback gathered from various sources.
- Provides guidance and support to writers and content creators in the form or editorial oversight, ideation, efficient process, and alignment to business strategy.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum eight years related work experience, five years Communications experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
