Our client is an established and fast-growing energy solutions business is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead the expansion of advanced energy storage systems into the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) market.
This is a high-impact role focused on driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and positioning premium battery technology across commercial, industrial, and asset-intensive sectors.
The Opportunity
With strong supply capability and a robust product portfolio, the business is investing heavily in growth. The Sales Manager will take ownership of developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for C&I energy storage systems, working closely with EPCs, solar integrators, electrical contractors, developers, and end users.
You will have the autonomy to shape the sales approach, open new channels, and build a sustainable pipeline in a market that is scaling rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a national sales strategy targeting C&I battery energy storage opportunities
Identify, pursue, and close large-scale energy storage projects
Build strategic partnerships with EPC contractors, solar developers, and energy consultants
Position integrated battery solutions for grid support, peak shaving, demand management, and hybrid renewable systems
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract execution
Provide market intelligence and feedback to shape product positioning and pricing strategy
Represent the business at industry events and build brand presence within the C&I energy sector
About You
Proven experience selling energy storage systems (ESS) into the C&I market across Australia
Strong network across EPCs, commercial installers, or industrial energy users
Technically confident in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and distributed energy solutions
Commercially astute with strong negotiation and deal-closing capability
Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating with autonomy
Sydney based with national travel as required
