Impact you will have As Account Strategy Director, you will play a leadership role within Donor Republic’s management team, shaping and driving strategic fundraising direction across a portfolio of key clients.
Working closely with Group Account Directors and senior stakeholders, you will lead the development of Individual Giving strategies across acquisition, retention and value growth – ensuring every campaign is insight‑led, commercially sound and performance‑driven.
You will operate beyond single briefs, thinking at a strategic level to unlock long-term growth opportunities and ensure integrated, multi-channel strategies deliver measurable impact for clients.
This is a strategic leadership role. You will guide and manage a team, influence senior clients, and ensure campaigns are delivered to the highest standard, on time, on budget, and optimised for performance.
You will also play a key role in developing capability within the team, mentoring emerging talent and contributing to a high-performance, collaborative agency culture.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic development of Individual Giving programs across a portfolio of key clients
Develop integrated fundraising strategies across acquisition, retention, regular giving, Gifts in Wills and appeals
Act as a senior strategic advisor to clients, providing insight, direction and growth opportunities
Oversee delivery of multi‑channel fundraising campaigns ensuring excellence in execution, timing and budget
Build strong, trusted client relationships with senior fundraising and marketing stakeholders
Identify opportunities to grow client programs through innovation, optimisation and new ideas
Lead on regular strategic WIPs with full oversight of client success
Manage any potential challenges within your client portfolio, leading on performance, risk and success across the portfolio
Collaborate with creative, digital, data and production teams to deliver integrated campaigns
Ensure strategies are commercially sound, performance‑led and measurable
Monitor project performance, budgets and profitability in partnership with internal teams
Team leadership; develop, mentor and build capability across your team
Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools and ways of working
Support cross‑agency collaboration and contribute to strategic initiatives and thought leadership
Skills and Experience We’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded and highly capable Individual Giving leader who brings:
Sound experience in Individual Giving program management
Strategic leadership across acquisition and retention including regular giving, appeals, Mid Value, direct mail, Gifts in Wills and donor care
Proven ability to lead and deliver multi‑channel fundraising campaigns end‑to‑end
Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate insight into actionable fundraising strategy
Excellent client relationship management skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, performance and project delivery
Ability to lead, mentor and develop teams in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment
Strong collaboration skills across creative, digital, data and production teams including with external suppliers such as copywriters, designers and mail houses
High attention to detail, strong organisation and ability to manage multiple complex projects
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and inspire internally and externally
Genuine passion for leading innovative campaigns and improving outcomes for a breadth of charitable organisations
