Project Officer Role
This is a key position in our project team, responsible for delivering critical infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the project team and ensuring project delivery.
* Manage components of work that support project delivery
* Prepare project documentation, including management plans, site records, quality and safety documentation, reports, and programs
* Oversee construction activities and maintain project and asset management systems
* Coordinate safe network access and resource allocation
* Build effective stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation
* Administer contracts and tenders, including procurement and implementation oversight
* Conduct audits and inspections to ensure governance and performance standards are met
The Hunter-Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone (HCC REZ) project is a significant initiative that will enable the transfer of 1 gigawatt of renewable energy by 2028. This project supports a reliable and sustainable energy future for the region.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications or an Advanced Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline
* Demonstrated experience in managing and successfully delivering projects
* Strong understanding of project management principles and financial oversight
* Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and project management systems
* Class C Driver's Licence
* S sound knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes on time and within budget
