About the role
Are you a skilled and reliable truck driver looking for a fulfilling role with a reputable company? Hardings Hardware, a trusted name in the hardware industry since 1958, is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our Pakenham team.
You will enjoy a stable work schedule with 7am starts, Monday to Friday, in a role that balances independence with teamwork. We offer a very competitive hourly rate, and while working autonomously in your role, you will love being part of the team, collaborate with fellow drivers to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations.
What you will be doing
* Safely operate our MR Body Truck to deliver products to various building sites in the surrounding areas.
* Provide exceptional customer service, representing Hardings Hardware professionally at all times.
* Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, contributing to the smooth operation of our business.
* Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly.
What you will bring
* Hold a valid car license
* Hold a current MR Body Truck License or above - essential
* Forklift License (an advantage)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be physically fit (some heavy lifting required)
* Able to deliver to building sites in surrounding areas, up to 2 hours from Pakenham
* A strong team player attitude, with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with other drivers and team members
